eMentoring

Ementoring LogoWondering what interviews are like? Advice on your personal statement? Good places for work experience?

eMentoring is a programme that gives you the opportunity to be paired with a current University of Nottingham medical student for one-to-one mentoring. Our trained mentors are here to support you through all stages of the application process, from selecting Universities, writing personal statements, preparing for admissions tests and then interviews.

The scheme runs all year round and you can sign up at any time. This gives you contact with someone who understands the application process and can answer any questions you may have. It can be really valuable to speak to someone who has been through the process and understands the potential issues and queries that may be encountered at each stage.

The mentors and mentees contact each other via a moderated email system overseen by our team of senior mentors. All correspondence is monitored and all our volunteers receive training for the role, including safeguarding training.

Wondering what interviews are like? What you should include in your personal statement? Good places for work experience? This is what eMentoring is here for. This is a truly fantastic programme that students find very helpful. If you want to find out more then get in touch and feel free to sign up.
